My film features the reel when someone scrolls through the colour filters on camera roll, as if they're chosing the most aesthetically pleasing option, as many of us are guilty of saturating/ altering the contrasts/hues when posting a picture to represent our digital self. The film features the roll swiping back and forth, suggesting the anxiety associated with creating the perfect image. I like all of the filter names changing as the reel is swiped, as it almost describes the mood created in the image. The reels are swiped in different directions at different paces, getting more aggressive going down, again suggesting the pressure of perfection associated with presenting our digital self online. Overall, I think the piece is quite aesthetically pleasing to watch, and I wanted to enhance this by adding the sensory aspect of the haptic, or perhaps make it interactive so the viewer can swipe for themselves.
